Get ready to see the country shrunk down to 4mm scale at this new attraction, opening in Blackpool this summer! Mini Planet GB will be located under B&M Bargains at Church Street – the basement of the former BHS store.
What is Mini Planet GB?
In this brand new attraction you’ll be able to explore iconic UK buildings and landmarks like never before. It’s going to be the largest model building exhibition in the U.K. – if not the world!
To start with Mini Planet GB will showcase four ‘Lands’. London, England, Scotland and AirportLand.

Some of the buildings and features suggested so far include: Houses of Parliament, Tower Bridge and the Tower of London. HMS Belfast, London Eye and Thames Barrier. Trafalgar Square, Buckingham Palace, Piccadilly Circus, Post Office Tower, The Shard, Wembley Stadium, and Lords Cricket Ground.
Plus more than 100 other iconic U.K. buildings from all over the land.
The depiction of Manchester Airport will have planes flying, traffic moving and trains running. In Scotland you might even see the iconic Hogwarts with it’s dedicated train running over the Glenfinnan Viaduct. Spot flying Ford Anglia cars or even Edinburgh Castle and the world famous Princes Street.
Enter this mini world…
Various interactive features will be included. For example a 6 lane slot car system with electronic timing. Race against your family or friends to see who’s the fastest!
And you’ll get the chance to be included too!

Building Mini Planet GB
You might remember that this basement space is huge – a whopping 26,000+ sq feet! It will include a new exhibition, retail and cafe space.

There’ll be brilliant lighting effects, coupled with the excitement of trains, boats and planes. A delight for all the family.
With planning submitted in December 2021 to convert the Market St premises, subject to approval Mini Planet GB will be opening in June 2022.
What Would you like to See?
Plans are well advanced and building is well underway. But you can still add your input to which iconic landmarks you’d like to see, built in 4mm scale.
