It’s a sensational show celebrating the music of Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons. This show is our most popular midweek production and appeals to a wide range of audiences and ages. Enjoy plenty of comedy, music and moves in a fast moving show. Starring our hilarious host Leye D Johns and resident Viva Showgirls dancers.
This music has broad appeal including ‘Sherry’, ‘Beggin’, ‘Grease’ and ‘My Eyes Adored you’. PLUS more music from the era – so no worries about individual taste or pleasing a big group. Performed by an amazing quartet of vocalists – Matt Andrews (Frankie), Johnny O’Connor (Nick), Toby Beal (Tommy) and Michael Cosgrove (Bob). The show appears with a fabulous troupe of showgirl dancers and full production including video.

Bay City Rollermania with ‘The Legendaries’ – Mon 28 Dec at 8pm
After numerous incredibly successful nights, the band are BACK to perform another night dedicated to the memory of Les McKeown and the Bay City Rollers.
The remaining band members of Les McKeown’s Bay City Rollers reunite to play the songs, tell the tales and re-live life on the road. Playing all the hits and more – from their years of touring with Les. Remembering the hits such as ‘Shang-A-Lang’ Give A Little Love, I Only Want To Be With You, Summer Love Sensation and of course Bye Bye Baby will be extra poignant. Sanctioned and endorsed by Les own family – this will be another evening to remember the good times.

2023: Winter Works at Viva Bar Blackpool
Since opening, stage height had been an issue as the venue was built into the constraints of the original building. It’s reduced opportunities for some shows coming into the venue, and caused issues with sound and lighting.
January is a busy month in Blackpool – it’s when theatres, attractions and venues do their building and renovating work! So before the season got into swing it was all systems go at Viva Bar Blackpool. In 2023 the old stage came down – even revealing some of the old Mecca Bingo fittings! Now, there’s a huge new stage for even better shows
A team of skilled builders removed the roof (and the huge steel triangle in the middle of the room). Now there’s a beautiful open stage for performers to do their thing on – and above! It’ also ‘s opened up opportunities for new types of shows and concerts to come to the venue. It’s exciting times – the Viva Bar Blackpool experience has come a long way since it opened and it’s always improving!
2022: 10 Fabulous Years for Viva Bar Blackpool!
Opened in 2012, Viva Bar Blackpool has been entertaining 150,000 visitors each year with a top-class programme of live entertainment. It’s all produced in house by owners Martin Heywood and the ever-popular, outrageous host, Leye D Johns.
The 10th anniversary in 2022 was marked with an exciting line-up of shows. All performed in the unique, cabaret style theatre, with a different attraction every night from June through November.
West End Musical and Blackpool Cabaret
For the first time ever, Viva Bar Blackpool staged a full West End musical, ‘Boogie Nights The 70’s Musical‘. The hilarious and heart-warming musical, with a hit soundtrack of our lives, featured Shane Nolan as the lead.
Jon Conway is the show’s original London director and staged this Viva version. He said, “Boogie Nights always had a terrific party atmosphere on previous Blackpool visits. I’m really excited that we’ve secured a large and talented cast of established musical theatre performers to stage the show at Viva Bar Blackpool.”
Meanwhile resident host Leye D Johns headlined ‘Viva The Show’ a vibrant new spectacular production. Complete with a glamorous cast of singers and dancers, showcasing the very best of showbiz glitz at the heart of the Golden Mile. ‘Viva Country Legends’ was also new in 2022.
Family Entertainment
Viva also became the home of family entertainment as part of it’s 10th anniversary celebration. Welcoming the hilarious ‘Crazy Comedy Company’ with an exciting new show. A hit at the Edinburgh Festival and Butlins alike it’s just one of a number of new family shows at Viva.
