Seaside Emporium was the online shop from The Rabbit Patch – we’re the family business which publishes Visit Fylde Coast. Derek Littlewood is the resident painter and he’s created many watercolour scenes of your favourite places, views and landmarks. Now in his 80’s and not in very good health, in 2025 he generously donated all of the reproduction rights on his images to Care for Cleveleys. This means that, deducting the cost of materials, 100% of the profit on all sales goes straight into the fundraising kitty.

A team of talented, unpaid volunteers make all of the prints and products, so literally the only costs deducted are for framing materials, papers and inks etc.

Care for Cleveleys is the group which seeks to improve the town. They look after planting and basic maintenance. Decorations and pretty features. Christmas lights and community events. It’s an amazing group, looking after an amazing town! In July 2025 they opened a Shop and community hub.

Over the years when Seaside Emporium was part of the Rabbit Patch business, Derek created many watercolour scenes of your favourite places. There are views and landmarks of all your favourite local Fylde Coast scenes. From Fleetwood, Cleveleys, Blackpool and Lytham. Plus other, imaginary landscapes of fishing villages, boats and lighthouses.

Prints of our paintings are available to buy from the Care for Cleveleys Shop, in a choice of sizes and styles, plain, mounted or framed options. You can order a particular option for collection on a later day. Sorry, the website isn’t currently online and there’s no facility for mail order at the moment.

This watercolour is especially popular. It captures two Blackpool icons in one: the Blackpool Tower and one of our lovely Heritage Trams.

We’ve got coastal cottages made from workshop waste wood and driftwood. Lighthouses perched on a cliff and many more ideas for things to follow. These are individual one-off pieces of art. When they’re gone they’re gone!
