Saturday 26th July – Minecraft Day with the Piñata Cod Club

This is one for all the Minecraft fans! Minecraft’s Steve will be here for a meet and greet at 11am, 12’noon, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm. Each appearance lasts 30 minutes meaning there’s plenty of time for photos! You can also have a go on our dedicated games station between 11am and 4pm. This will be run in timed sessions and is first come first served, so there may be a short wait at busy times. And if that’s not enough, there’s our free Piñata Little Cod Club between 12 and 4pm inside Captain Cod’s Club House.

Tuesday 29th to Thursday 31st July – Billy Sparks Entertainment Shows

Join Billy Sparks here at Affinity Lancashire for fun, magic and entertainment. The shows start at 11.30am, 1pm and 2.30pm daily and run for 45 minutes and you’ll find all the fun on our outdoor events space. If it is raining all the fun will happen inside Captain Cod’s Club House.

Saturday 2nd August – Spiderman meet & greet with face painting

Come and meet the amazing Spiderman who’ll be appearing at the centre at 12’noon, 1pm. 2pm and 3pm. Each appearance lasts 30 minutes giving you plenty of chance to watch his Spidey-stunts and take photos. There’s free face painting on the day too between 11am and 4pm.

Tuesday 5th – Thursday 7th August – Seaside Shows & Mini Bus Rides

Come and have fun at our traditional Seaside Shows! Running between 11.15am and 4pm on our outside event space, the shows are interspersed with brilliant mini bus rides which will take you around the centre on a mini adventure! If it is raining all the fun will happen inside Captain Cod’s Club House.

Come along to experience the magic of The Bubble Fairy here at Affinity Lancashire. She’ll be performing between 11am and 4pm, with short breaks between each performance. There’s free glitter tattoos on the day too.

Sunday 24th August – Wicked Cupcake Workshop with Party Games and Magic

Make your very own WICKED Cupcake at our free workshop. Join in the fun inside Captain Cod’s Club House anytime between 11am and 4pm, where you’ll also find party games and magic to keep you entertained too.

Monday 25th August – WICKED Galinda & Elphaba meet & greet with face painting

This is one for all the Wicked fans! Galinda & Elphaba will be here in Fleetwood for a meet and greet at 11am, 12’noon, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm. If you like dinosaurs, you’ll LOVE our Dino day where you’ll get to see Dino’s big and small at the Dino shows which run at 12’noon, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm on our events space here at Affinity Lancashire. Each show lasts 30 minutes giving you plenty of chance to take photos and be WOWED by our roaming dinosaurs.  You can also take part in our free Little Cod Club where you’ll get the chance to make a dinosaur parachute pal – just pop in to Captain Cod’s Club House anytime between 12 and 4pm.

Saturday 19th July to Sunday 31st August – Captain Cod’s Enchanted Adventure Trail

Captain Cod has been busy creating his own virtual world, but his blocks and mobs have escaped into the real world and are hiding around Affinity Lancashire.

Help Captain Cod to find them by entering your own adventure around the centre – but beware, there is one missing! Find which one has escaped into Fleetwood for the chance to win a Nintendo Switch Minecraft Bundle!

You can follow our self-led trail anytime between the 19th July and 31st August – just collect your trail form from the centre entrance and, when you’ve finished, post your completed form into the entry box by the customer notice board at the front of the centre.

Artisan Street is Back – Monthly!

The popular Artisan Street Fayre is BACK at Affinity Lancashire – and the good news is that it’s going to be MONTHLY!

The first one of the year will be on Saturday 5th April – then on the 1st Saturday of each month

Bookings are now open with NEW event partner, SPG Events NW. To book a trade stall you need to head to their website, register as a trader, and then book a space for the Artisan Street Fayre at Affinity Lancashire.

Kids Club at Affinity Lancashire

Captain Cod is visiting the centre, and he’s looking for new recruits! Do you want to join the Little Cod Club?

New Skechers & Stores now Open

Popular shoe brand Skechers opened at Affinity Lancashire on Friday 3 November, creating more than 15 jobs and stocking all the latest lines.

It’s moved into a 4738 sq ft unit – previously Edinburgh Woollen Mill and Hotter Shoes. Both stores closed during the pandemic but have been transformed into a bright, modern store. With footwear for all the family they’ve also got clothes, casual, athletic and fashion trends as well as sandals and boots.

It’s the latest of a number of brands to join the line-up in the past 12 months. Weird Fish, Fleetwood Garden World and Bensons for Beds are all new in recent months. Julian Charles Home, The Fragrance Shop, Klass and Katie’s Café have all expanded their stores too. With the opening of a new Crew Clothing store, the centre is now completely full!

Dog Friendly at Affinity Lancashire

Your four legged friend is welcome at Affinity Lancashire. Not only are dogs welcome in the centre, they can go in many of the shops too. And there are also plenty of benches where less-keen shoppers can sit awhile with Fido and watch the world go by, while other members of the family browse in store.

You’ll find signs on the doors of stores where you are welcome to take dogs inside. Plus, there are water bowls dotted around the site, where your dog can stop and take a drink. Some stores have additional water bowls too.

Have you been to Jolly Jacinta’s?

Jolly Jacinta’s is the latest addition to Affinity Fleetwood outlet shopping village! It’s a free soft play area for visitors to enjoy indoors – you’ll find it adjacent to Next Outlet. 

Inspired by Fleetwood’s tranquil marina and named after our famous fishing boat. The indoor soft play area features soft play shapes and a small seating area where adults can relax. The soft play area isn’t manned and is purely for the use of under 10’s. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.

25 Years of Affinity Lancashire!

12 September 2020 marked 25 years since Freeport Fleetwood first opened its doors. It’s been Affinity Lancashire since 2018 but loads of people (us included!) still call it Freeport Fleetwood! Do you?

Freeport Fleetwood shopping centre announced its new name, Affinity Lancashire, and its eye-catching logo with a party atmosphere. It was the Spring Bank Holiday weekend in 2018 when the name change happened – with visitors enjoying all sorts of fun. The event was packed with family-focused activities and shoppers bagged their bargains through exclusive discounts as part of the re-launch extravaganza.

The Affinity Outlets unites the formerly ‘Freeport Fleetwood’, ‘Freeport Talke’ and ‘Atlantic Village’ outlet centres under a single band. Global Mutual Limited, the international property investment and management company, acquired the three schemes in 2017.
