Due to phenomenal demand Alfie Boe has announced five extra dates to his huge UK tour this summer. The new shows will take place in Skegness, Southend, Tunbridge Wells, Bournemouth and Blackpool across June and July 2024. After playing 18 shows across the UK, the tour ends at Blackpool Opera House on Friday 5th July.

Jason Manford, one of the UK’s most beloved comedians, returns to the Vegas of Britain alongside a stellar Blackpool Comedy Festival line-up featuring Paul Sinha, Dara O’Briain, and Kiri Pritchard-McLean.

Rebellion Festival – 1-4 Aug
Rebellion Festivals is the largest INDEPENDENT Punk / Alternative music festival in the world. Over 4 days every August in Blackpool the global punk community gather for the social event of the year. Many treat it as a main holiday and come every year so there is a very familiar feel to the weekend and it’s like one big family – all 8000 of us! The event is all ages and family friendly. Alongside the 300+ bands playing, there is an Art & Craft market, a Literary Festival in the wonderful new conference centre and many merch stalls selling music, clothes, memorabilia and of course the bands products too. Oh yeah, and there is PUNK ROCK BINGO and RAT BOYS MAGIC SHOW every day. Don’t miss it!

Known for revolutionising the Motown sound, The Temptations brought lyrical depth and an abundance of instrumental content. The Opera House
New, upcoming bands have played in the Opera House including the like of Little Mix. Old favourites, such as Jane McDonald and Daniel O’Donnell continue to return. Some of the world’s best bands, including Canada’s Arcade Fire, who selected the Winter Gardens as only one of three venues to play in the UK.
The Empress Ballroom
The magnificent Empress Ballroom is just as comfortable staging the World Dance Championships each year as it is hosting some of the world’s best rock and pop acts in concert.

The Winter Gardens is an incredible building with a long history. It first opened on 11 July 1878 and since then has grown and developed as an entertainment complex which mirrors the growth of the seaside town of Blackpool.
In the centre of the complex, in what’s now the coffee shop, you can see the original building around which the whole of the Winter Gardens was built.
Blackpool Winter Gardens – A Perfect Venue for your Event
The Winter Gardens offers a wide variety of venues for events ranging from small private business lunches to large scale conferences.
You can also hold your wedding at the Winter Gardens. What could be better than a reception or banquet in the recently refurbished Derham Room? (below).
The main rooms include the 2,900 capacity Opera House (the largest theatre stage outside London), the grand Empress Ballroom with a capacity of 3,250 people for concerts, and the 2,600 sq metre Olympia Exhibition Hall.

Illuminasia was the indoor Illuminations attraction inside the Winter Gardens.
Always designed to be temporary, the doors finally closed on Sunday 29 October 2017.
