Wild West Diner Blackpool

The menu is based around traditional recipes from deep in the South. Choose from succulent sizzling steaks with a wide variety of sides. Full racks of ribs smothered in tangy BBQ sauce or the ultimate burger with your choice of fillings. Plus Western Wings and much more. Dishes at Wild West Diner Blackpool are packed full of original taste, with hearty portions and incredible value for money. Plus options for gluten, plant-based and other dietary preferences.

Staff are friendly and helpful and there’s a warm atmosphere. It’s clean and well presented with menus and prices clearly displayed.

Sands Venue originally opened on the first floor of the Palatine Building on 6 August 2010, combining three restaurants and cabaret. On 20 August 2015 the venue opened its 88 seat Sands Wild West Diner. It was June 2018 when redevelopment of the Palatine Building began – as we know it’s still not finished! But the Wild West Diner in its current form opened on 12 September 2020, delayed a little because of the Covid pandemic.

Disabled Access

There’s level access at the front of the store and dining space is all on the same level, making it accessible for anyone with additional requirements. Customer toilets are also accessible and located on the ground floor.

Overall

The day that I visited I chose a bacon cheeseburger – a truly tasty combination! Served with side-salad, coleslaw and a portion of fries. Eaten in a window booth with an amazing view over Blackpool promenade, it’s a very pleasant lunchtime experience!
