Who doesn’t love a game of bingo when they go on holiday! There’s a number of places where you can enjoy a game in Blackpool. There’s Mecca Bingo and the brand new Bingo 3000, plus plenty of smaller traditional seaside bingo places in the town centre.

Blackpool Tower Eye

Are you brave enough to go to the top of The Blackpool Tower? Experience a magical 4D show before you take a ride to the top. When you get there, dare to walk on the glass floor and see Blackpool laid out below. It’s an amazing experience! The Blackpool Tower Eye is open from Easter to November (subject to weather).

Blackpool Zoo

Visit the animals at Blackpool Zoo and find out more about each of the magnificent creatures from elephants to lemurs! Don’t forget to visit the animal barn and get close to a variety of farmyard animals – and catch the free-flying bird show too. Blackpool Zoo is open daily throughout the year. Residents can get a discount during March.


Resident clowns Mooky and Mr Boo delight audiences young and old at the permanent, long running Blackpool Tower Circus. The magical spectacle of circus skills ends with the amazing water finale. Different circus shows also visit other venues throughout the year. The Blackpool Tower Circus shows from February to November.

Coral Island Blackpool

Europe’s largest free-to-enter indoor attraction is a colourful world of lights, bleeps and music! Inside you’ll find games and amusements for all the family. Try your hand at the Camel Derby, ride the Pirate Flyer, challenge the skill-based games and enjoy the 2p pushers. When you’re ready for a rest and a bite to eat there’s a variety of cafes and restaurants where kids eat free with a paying adult! Coral Island is open daily throughout the year.

Crazy Golf at Princess Parade

A little more sedate attraction but great fun nonetheless – an old fashioned game of crazy golf! Set in the sunken garden of Princess Promenade near North Pier, challenge your friends to see who can around with the least strokes! Run by and in support of the Street Angels charity it’s open seasonally according to the weather.


Dare you enter the Dungeon? Find it below the Blackpool Tower, a dark world of gruesome entertainment and well worth a visit! Meet the actors who’ll take you through the dismal Fylde Coast past and it’s gory truth, ending on a dangerous drop ride. Are you brave enough? The Tower Dungeon is open from Easter to November.

Grand Theatre

Nestled among retail shops in the town centre, the Grand Theatre is Blackpool’s gem of a theatre. It’s traditional interior hosts the most eclectic range of productions from modern dance and comedy to classical opera and traditional panto. With a show almost daily throughout the year there’s sure to be something to interest you.

Gruffalo and Friends Clubhouse

A magical world awaits all small people at the Gruffalo and Friends Clubhouse, one of the most recent attractions to open in Blackpool. Find it under the SEA LIFE centre on the promenade – it’s also open each day – whatever the weather!

Grundy Art Gallery

Home to visiting exhibitions and its own permanent collection. The Grundy Art Gallery shows a year round programme of contemporary and visual art exhibitions and events. Including solo and group displays together with talks, events and educational activities.

Hangar 42 Spitfire Centre

Off the beaten track at Squires Gate, this museum-based attraction is well worth a look. Inside the aircraft hangar you can sit inside a replica spitfire and explore the technology and challenges our war heroes faced. Hanger 42 Spitfire Visitor Centre is open for pre-booked tours on certain days.

Heritage Tram Tours

Did you know the Blackpool Heritage Trams are the only ones to still travel on the tramway for which they were originally built? Enjoy the distinctive sound of them travelling along the seafront with a pre-booked Heritage Tram Tour. Plus a variety of special excursions too.

Hole in Wand

Another ‘crazy golf’ this time an indoors, themed adventure golf based in a world of wizards! Challenge your friends and family and test your collective skill through a range of different tests – have you got what it takes? Your final score determines which potion each visit ends with. Hole in Wand is open most days.

Madame Tussauds

Enter a world of celebrity and famous faces as you step through the doors of Madame Tussauds Blackpool. Get up close and personal with people who you know from the worlds of television, sport, music and royalty. You’ll never see your favourite stars in the same way again! Madame Tussauds is open from February to December.

Model Village

Neighbour to Stanley Park, Blackpool Model Village is a pint-sized world in miniature. Explore the shops, houses and streets, all set in immaculate grounds of a miniature Lilliput. Blackpool Model Village is open seasonally.

Peter Rabbit Explore and Play

Enter the pint-sized world of Peter Rabbit Explore and Play. Join him and his friends in a fascinating world for all small people to play and explore. Visit Mr McGregor’s Garden and hop around the games inside. Peter Rabbit is open daily.

Pleasure Beach

The most well known attraction in Blackpool – the biggest and best theme park. The Pleasure Beach is open daily throughout the season and at weekends in early Spring and late Autumn. There’s old favourites and new rides for thrill seekers from the tiniest tots to the oldest adventurers. Experience high-adrenalin rides like Icon or sedate classics like Alice in Wonderland. There’s something for everyone!

Sandcastle Waterpark

Whatever the weather it’s always a tropical 84 degrees inside the Sandcastle Waterpark! Enjoy all the 18 slides and rides plus the waves of the pool. There’s splashtastic fun for all the family with daily opening from Easter to November and most weekends in winter.

SEA LIFE Blackpool

Enter a magical underwater world and meet marine animals and fish you’d never normally see in real life. Walk through the amazing arches of the underwater ocean tank where sharks swim above your head. Meet the huge and friendly rays and marvel at what you might find in a rock-pool. SEA LIFE Blackpool is open daily throughout the year.

Showtown Museum

Opening in March 2024, the Showtown Museum will be the newest attraction in Blackpool. Located in the black Sands Venue building at Central Promenade it’s the Museum of Blackpool and entertainment. Expect a world of theatrical delights when you step inside!

Stanley Park

Adjacent to Blackpool Zoo and a short distance from the town centre is Blackpool’s green gem – Stanley Park. Over many acres the green lawns, gardens, ponds and amenities stretch, for the use of visitors both young and old. For more than 100 years it’s been popular with holiday makers and locals alike and is well worth a visit to enjoy the grounds themselves and the many events which it hosts. Stanley Park is open every day.

The Regent

If you love vintage and antique shop finds you’ll love The Regent – allow yourself plenty of time to have a good browse! Three floors of everything, set in a restored 1920’s cinema, there’s clothes, bric-a-brac, furniture and treasure aplenty. And on Friday nights you can see classic films too, played on the big screen.

THREE Piers – North, South and Central

Most seaside towns consider themselves lucky if they’ve still got one pier left standing, but Blackpool has three! There’s the historic North Pier with it’s popular Joe Longthorne Theatre and many end-of-the-pier shows. The shortest South Pier is where you go for adrenalin rides! Meanwhile Central Pier is a cacophony of fairground rides, side stalls, music and fast food. Plus Pirates Bay family bar where there’s free entertainment at weekends and school holidays. The Piers are open daily at February half-term, weekends until Easter and then daily until November.

Tower Ballroom

Home of the legendary Strictly Come Dancing live edition, you too can experience the magnificent opulence of the Blackpool Tower Ballroom. Enjoy an afternoon under the vaulted, painted ceiling and watch the dancers glide around – or take part yourself. For a special treat you can also enjoy Afternoon Tea. The Ballroom also hosts a variety of events throughout the year. Check the website for varied opening days/times throughout the year.

Viva Blackpool

The town’s best cabaret venue where you can enjoy a great night out. Book a show and a meal and make your evening complete. Choose from one of the in-house shows with singing, dancing and comedy. Or perhaps a visiting tribute show, big name star, sports personality or comedian. There’s plenty to choose from with a show most days – and Viva Blackpool is open all year.

Winter Gardens

Built as the original place to escape the weather, Blackpool Winter Gardens still offers refuge on grey days! Marvel at the beautiful Floral Hall as you say hello to Morecambe and Wise. Enjoy one of the bars and restaurants, the many visiting festivals and exhibitions, and of course a spectacular range of shows. The Winter Gardens is open throughout the year and there’s something happening most days.
