Race for Life Blackpool

Race for Life

Cancer Research UK is calling on people in Blackpool to join the fight against cancer and sign up to Race for Life.

Blackpool Race for Life

Wednesday 5 July 2023 at 6.30pm (10k) and 7pm other races (3k and 5k)

Starting from Blackpool Tower Festival Headland

Blackpool Race for Life is an achievable distance for people of all ages and abilities and you can run or walk your way around the course.

Originally a race for women, now it’s open to everyone. It brings millions of people together to support life-saving research. Just by signing up you’ll make a difference and whether you raise £10 or £200, every penny matters.

Cancer Research UK hopes to see you there, joined by family and friends – walking, jogging, dancing and sponsoring – whatever it takes to help save lives and hit cancer where it hurts!

A 5k is great for all ages. Run, jog or walk the only thing that matters is that you’re part of it. Whether you do it in a tutu (men and women!) or just an old pink t-shirt, THIS IS BEATING CANCER.

Race for Life has already raised more than £500 million to fund Cancer Research UK’s life saving work since it began in 1994, but it doesn’t stop there. Cancer Research UK will keep on fighting until cures for all 200 types of cancer are found.

Join the Race for Life

Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life is a series of events raising money for research into all 200 types of cancer – people of any age, shape, size and fitness level can take part – Join the Race for Life in Blackpool.
